SQL installation problem: SQL redist

Install SQL Server2000 ( MDAC ) Error prompt:

 

SQL redist
Command Line option syntax error. Type COMMAND /? For help.

The explanation on the Microsoft site said:

 

This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:

• You run the SQL Server 2000 sp3 setup. BAT file from a folder that contains double-byte character set (DBCS)Characters in the folder name.

• An ODBC client program that uses the sqlsrv32.dll file is running on your computer.

If you put the installation file in a folder with dual-byte names, the installation file should be corrupted. MySQL Server2000The Installation File is placed on the desktop, and the Chinese character is the so-called double byte. Change the folder name to English and try again. The problem is solved.

Solution to mssql2000 suspension during installation:
Enter Regedit in the running window, open registry editor, find pendingfilerenameoperations in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE "system" controlset001 "control" Session Manager, delete the key value, and Close Registry Editor. Install SQL Server 2000 again.
