"Remote Procedure call failed" appears in SQL Server Configuration Manager. [0x800706be] "error,

Find SQL2008 and VS2012 or VS2013 coexistence problems when searching the Internet.

• Workaround

Control Panel--programs and features, find Microsoft SQL Server Express local DB and Microsoft SQL Server Express local db Uninstall

If the deletion does not work, see if there is another Express Local db end of the software, uninstall off

finally reopen or refresh your SQL Server Configuration Manager to display properly
