SQL Server 2000 installation: command line option syntax error, TYPE command /? For help Solution
When installedProgramInstall:
The installer is installing the MS data access component.
The screen prompts an error:
Command Line option syntax error, TYPE command /? For help

Click "OK" to continue. The result is:
The installer is installing HTML Help.
The prompt "HTML Help 1.32 update error" dialog box appears:
Command Line option syntax error, TYPE command /? For help

Then I click "OK" to continue. The installer starts to copy the file. After copying the file, an error message is displayed:
Unable to find the dynamic Connection Library sqlunirl. dll in the specified path
Click OK to stop running the installation program and check the Installation Log.

Solution:

The cause is that the installation file of sqlserver is stored in the Chinese directory.

Copy the Installation File of sqlserver to the English directory and install it.

For example:

D: \ Software \ sqlserver

Remove "software" from
