SQL Server Specifies the sort field

Source: Internet
Author: User

You can specify the sort fields in SQL Server, which field values you want to rank first or last, all of which are possible. See the following code:

SELECT * from public_commentorder by case [UserName]' Zhangsan ' then 1 --Specifies that thefield values of Username= Zhangsan be ranked first ' Lisi ' then 2 --Specifying Username= Lisi field values are in the second order, but not necessarily the second data Else 3 ENDASC--after which the creation time is reversed

We can specify which field values are at the top and the others in the back row by using the case-when method behind order by.
