SQLite Delete Field method near ' drop ': syntax error;

SQLite delete the field when prompted by a syntax error near, how to solve it? The ALTER TABLE statement in SQLite does not support drop COLUMN, only rename and add
Workaround:

1. Create a temporary table that adds a field other than the field you want to delete
CREATE TABLE _temp as select _id,name,age,balance from;

SELECT * from _temp;

2. Delete the original table

drop table person;

3. Name the temporary table as the original table

ALTER TABLE _temp Rename to person;
