  • 1) Environment
  • Windows Server 2008r2 64bit + MySQL 5.5.16 for 32 bit + MySQL ODBC connector 64 bit
  • 2) error message
  • In the specified DSN, the architecture between the driver and the application does not match
  • 3) Cause
  • Because you use the 64-bit management tool "Data Source (ODBC)" to connect to a 32bit MySQL
  • 4) Solution
  • Uninstall MySQL ODBC connector 64 bit install MySQL ODBC connector 32 bit
  • Run "C: \ WINDOWS \ syswow64 \ odbcad32.exe" and use this 32-bit "Data Source (ODBC)" to create a MySQL connection.
