In general, the default ftp installation in linux is vsftp. To start this server, you can use:
# Service vsftpd start

2. Configure xdm to use xdmcp to remote login
Under/etc/X11/xdm, Xaccess and xdm-config
1. Xaccess: remove the comment in the line "# * # any host can get a login window ".
So that all machines can open the login Dialog Box
2. xdm-config:
! DispalyManager. requestPort: 0
3. # xdm
Available # netstat-a | grep xdmcp to view the related information of xdmcp
Generally, the output is udp 0 0 *: xdmcp *: *, which is normal.
