Steps to install Wireshark in Mac

Mac OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.

Stable release (1.12.2)

Installation steps

Step one: Download packages to the official website.
Open Address https://www.wireshark.org/download.html
Download OS X 10.6 and later Intel 64-bit. DMG

Step Two: Install the package.

Double-click the package you just downloaded to open the Software installation interface. The following figure:

Then double-click the icon in the upper left corner to start the installation. Press the prompt to click the button during installation. You may need to enter a user password during the installation process. The interface is as follows:

After that, you can see the interface that was successfully installed.

Step three: Install X11.

If X11 is not installed on the machine, the following prompts are available when you click the Wireshark icon to start the software.

Open URL http://xquartz.macosforge.org/landing/
Download XQUARTZ-2.7.7.DMG.
During the installation, the following prompt box appears, click OK button.

Clicking the OK button will show the successful interface of the software installation.

When you click the Wireshark icon to start again, you may receive the following prompt box.

Click the browse button in the lower right corner to select X11. After clicking the button, the following interface appears:

Select the application on the left and search for "x11" in the search box in the upper-right corner to see the X11 icon. Click on the icon and then click the "Choose" button.
Then click on the Wireshark icon, you can open it normally. The Open interface is as follows:
