The Beijing Alumni Association of Nankai University was founded in October 31, 1915 and called "Beijing Nankai Alumni Association". Mei Xiaoqi served as the first President. As a branch of Nankai Alumni Association in Beijing, the Beijing Alumni Association of Nankai University aims to unite and contact Nankai University, Tianjin Nankai Middle School, Tianjin second Nankai Middle School, Chongqing Nankai Middle School, Zigong Shuguang Middle School, Tianjin Xiangyu Middle School, Chongqing Nankai middle school, and Southwest China. the majority of Nankai alumni, including teachers and students of Nankai series schools such as Peking University, and make every effort to provide various services for alumni. As a legal entity registered in Beijing and managed by the United Front department of the Beijing Municipal Committee, Nankai University's Beijing Alumni Association has registered more than thirteen thousand alumni.

 

After more than 90 years of development, the Beijing Alumni Association of Nankai University has formed a complete organizational system with honorary chairman, Consultant, board of supervisors, Council, and Secretariat. The Secretariat has offices, the Nankai people newspaper, the "Beijing Nankai people" website, the ministry of social networking, the Ministry of Economy, the Organization Department, and the external liaison department, it is mainly responsible for the daily work of the Alumni Association and implementing the Council's resolutions.

 

In order to build an effective and convenient communication platform for Beijing Nankai alumni, the Beijing Nankai Alumni Association of Nankai University opened the "Beijing Nankai people" website (www.bjnankai.cn) as its official website. In addition to setting up news centers, information centers, Nankai figures, Nankai forums, and other topics, the website also sets up BBS forums as channels for information publishing, event organizations, and alumni exchanges.

 

We once walked into Nankai with the same dream and spent an exciting or sad Nankai period. For the sake of ambition, we moved away from Nankai to become an alumnus. "Gathering ends of the world, depending on Nankai", because of the common Nankai, we will gather together in Beijing again to recall the past and think about the future, no matter where we go, the Beijing Alumni Association of Nankai University is always the Spiritual Home of alumni. We believe that our Nankai people in Beijing will be more closely united under the "Nankai" banner and continue to work together and help each other by adhering to the Nankai school motto of "Yun Gong Yun, changing with each other, practice Nankai's glorious tradition of "patriotism, dedication, innovation, and happiness" with action.
