1. Why does the winlogon.exe application error prompt appear in the Vientiane management software?

Fault description: the Windows 2000 Pro operating system used by Internet cafes and the management software version 876 installed by Wan Xiang Miao manager suddenly failed to enter the system today, and an error message indicating the Wanxiang MANAGER: Winlogon.exe application is displayed. This machine can still be used normally yesterday, but this situation suddenly occurs today. Uninstall and reinstall the manager.

Troubleshooting: in Windows operating system, winlogon.exe is a network logon program. After our machine is installed with the WAN Xiang management software, all clients are used under the control of the WAN Xiang management software server. If we cannot log on to the billing software server normally, we cannot use any resources of this machine. Then, the solution to the fault is very obvious. First, check whether the network cable is connected. This is especially true for NICs. The fault did not occur on the machine, which may result in poor contact with the network card. Open the machine and reinstall the network card. As a result, the fault is removed.

Fault performance: the computer in the internet cafe automatically starts when the power outlet is powered on. The next morning, when all the air switches are powered on, all the computers in the internet cafe are automatically turned on. We cannot perform a soft shutdown on all the computers. I tried to change the power of my computer, but the failure still exists. Remove the power of the computer and use the hichina test. As a result, all power indicators are normal.

Troubleshooting: This fault should be caused by improper BIOS settings. Press Del to go to BIOS settings, enter "Integrate Peripherals", select "Powron After PW-Fail", and press enter to set this item to "Off" to save the settings. 4. USB keyboard unavailable during operating system installation

Fault performance: some time ago, my PS/2 interface keyboard was damaged and I changed a USB interface keyboard. Yesterday, the machine was infected with a virus. The operating system was used for a long time and the effect was not very good. reinstall the system accurately. Open the machine, enter BIOS settings, and set the boot sequence of the computer to start from the optical drive. Restart the computer. When Press any key Boot from CDROM .......... When prompted, press the keyboard without any response.

Fault resolution: our computer uses the keyboard with the PS/2 interface by default. This interface does not need to be set in the BIOS during use and does not require support from the driver. When we use a USB keyboard and BIOS settings for the machine, the keyboard is valid. When we enter the boot interface of the optical drive, the keyboard does not respond, it indicates that the keyboard is not recognized by the hardware system after the machine self-check. We can go to the BIOS and carefully check the corresponding settings. We found that there is a setting item about the USB Keyboard and Mouse settings, the USB Keyboard/Mouse Support option, and the default status is Disable, we set the option to Enable. After the computer is restarted, the fault is resolved.

5. It is very slow to open a folder for storing MP3 songs.

Fault performance: My machine configuration is a Windows XP Professional operating system with CPU, MB memory, 80 GB hard drive. Because Internet cafe customers like to listen to MP3 songs, I downloaded more than two thousand MP3 songs and put them in the Music folder. However, when I open this folder, the computer speed is very slow, as if I had crashed.

Fault resolution: because the Music folder contains more than two thousand MP3 songs, when the folder is opened, a false crash occurs. It is estimated that the multimedia file preview function of Windows XP is enabled. I found some tool options and did not see any function to disable multimedia file preview. After logging on to the Microsoft community, I found the answer. In Windows XP, the preview file "shmedia. dll" of a video file plays a decisive role. You can simply close the dynamic link file. Enter "regsvr32/u shmedia. dll" in "Start> Run" and press Enter. The "DllUnregisterServer succeeded" dialog box in "shmedia. dll" indicates that the preview function is disabled successfully. If you want to restore it, enter "regsvr32 shmedia. dll.

Fault comment: When we use Windows XP, we can find that when we use the "thumbnail" to view some folders with a large number of files, the machine will crash.
