I have tried many articles on the Internet to introduce how to convert access to the oracle database, but it is not very successful. to list them, you don't have to try them blindly. It is basically unsuccessful:
1. Access --> excel --> PL/SQL --> Oracle
2. Access --> txt --> Sqlload --> Oracle
The above two fields have severe errors.
3. SQL Server and winsql are complicated, especially winsql.
4. Access the data source through ODBC directly --> Oracle
But the table structure and table data of the access Database affect the successful conversion. For example, access requires a large write of table names.
Then I found a lot of oracle graphical management software, such as SQLyog Enterpris, PLSQL Developer, toad for oracle 10, Navicat for Oracle, etc. I tried it one by one and finally completed the conversion with Navicat for Oracle, it is simple and fast.
We recommend that you use Navicat for Oracle to export access databases in the future.
The following illustration shows the process of importing access to oracle:
1. First download and install Navicat for Oracle. the version I use is 9.0. It doesn't matter if the version is lower than 8.0.
2. Open Navicat for Oracle and click "file" to create a connection:
Note: oracle generally enables four default users, namely SYS, SYSTEM, DBSNMP, and SYSMAN. Although SYS has the highest permissions, you must enter the SYSTEM user name for connection.
Click connection test. The connection is successful.
3. Next, open the following interface:
4. Right-click "table" and click "Import wizard". The window is displayed:
5. Click Next and select the access database to be opened. You can select the table to be imported and select multiple tables:
6. Select the relevant table name and click "Next. You can specify which table to import to oracle or enter a new table name.
7. Next, select the fields to be inverted.
8. After the selection, next, select the mode to import. Generally, select the first mode.
9. Click Next and start the conversion. The following window will appear soon.
10. Import successful.
