Title: Synapse: supports textures, links, and GTalk clients. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.

Synapse is a recent instant messaging client. Because Synapse adopts the same open protocol as GTalk XMPP, we can use Synapse as a GTalk client. This is also true. I can log on directly with my GTalk account without any settings. In addition to the general functions of instant messaging software, such as text chats, group chats, and mutual file transfers, Synapse also contains some special features, such as texture maps and network links during chats, even program code. In addition, Synapse also supports popular network services such as Flickr, Twitter, and YouTube.

Currently, Synapse is in Alpha testing. It provides installation packages for releases such as Ubuntu, openSUSE, Foresight, and Archlinux. If you use another release, you can obtain the source code of Synapse to install it.
