Later, as I wished, I had been working on R & D and Management of background-related systems. With the development of my work, my disdain for web development has vanished. On the contrary, I have been fully integrated into my work with web pages, and I have changed from a technician to a product person.

In the chain of Internet product development, the product is an upstream process. If you do not know what the downstream process needs, you do not know what the technology is concerned about. It is difficult to define documents that can be understood by downstream processes. This is why the product requirements of many people who do not know the technology are often scolded by programmers: "a few words, and then a bunch of pages copied from the Internet ". However, people who make products are also very wronged. The things made by the technical staff are heartless and arrogant. After long-term accumulation, products and technologies will inevitably form a confrontation. Technical complaints product does not understand technology, product complaints technology does not understand products. Ultimately, the work cannot be effectively promoted.

For small Internet companies, the product is generally decided by the boss, so there is no technology to overwhelm the product. The boss did not write any documents and called the technical director. You have to go back and follow suit, despite a lot of complaints. Who told him to be the boss. When the company is a little small, it has an independent role as a product. No matter what department the role belongs to, it is responsible for writing the requirement specification. Then others only need to follow the specifications. So who is responsible for this role? The boss thought. First, Mr. A: After years of technical work, but he does not understand Internet business, he will only work hard on technology. Second, Mr. B: Not long after graduation, but he has worked as a product assistant, I am afraid that programmers who are familiar with Internet businesses and do not know about technology will not miss him. The boss decided to find a Senior Product Manager from outside without looking for someone from the inside, or directly looking for a high salary. To be honest, this is a good idea. If you can find a relatively senior talent, it will play a good role in promoting the company's overall product direction and team capabilities. The boss immediately ordered the Human Resources Department to perform recruitment. The company's product manager is waiting for a long time.
