Talking about "shanzhai": is the core technology really just a window? (Minor and female are not suitable)

Currently, for the "shanzhai" phenomenon in China, especially for IT enterprises, most people will regard it as synonymous with "Imitation", "Plagiarism", "low quality", or even "spoof, some people think that the "shanzhai" phenomenon is a manifestation of China's low independent innovation ability. A popular opinion is that: "the core technology is just a piece of window paper, and the" One click is broken ". Since it is a" One click is broken ", there is no difficulty in the" shanzhai, let alone innovation. The emergence of a large number of 'shanta' products can only prove that China's independent innovation capability is low, and it is worth worrying to blindly pursue economic development by relying on low-cost labor ......"

However, is the core technology really just a piece of "one-click cracking" window paper? Is it really difficult to say "shanzhai? In my opinion, not necessarily.

There is no mystery about the core technologies that have been completely disclosed or "cracked", and their application is generally less difficult, however, it is not a very simple task to "hack" undisclosed core technologies. Comparing the core technology to "window paper" is not an appropriate metaphor. A window paper can be opened with a finger. I believe that, comparing core technologies to hybriddb is more appropriate (forgive me for being rough but not rough). It is not worth the effort to crack the hybriddb, it is not an easy task.

For female in humans, the primitive physiological value of the virgin film is to prevent male that are not strong enough during the first mating. If male is weak or suffers from Ed, it is unable to penetrate the barrier to complete mating, in this way, a high survival rate can be ensured to some extent for the first generation of female. Therefore, from a physiological point of view, it is never easy to crack the virgin film. from a social perspective, it is not that easy, if men today want to gain the power to crack the virgin film, appearance, property, status, and other strength (which can be considered as a "strong" modern measure) are important and even decisive factors, if you don't have enough strength to crack it, you just want to steal it.

If we give "shanzhai" a more scientific definition, it can be like this:

"Shanzhai"-Reverse Design of products that do not master their core technologies by reversed engineering in engineering science, so as to master their original design and core technologies, re-engineer the positive engineering process to get the product imitation or enhance the imitation.

Obviously, the reverse engineering and Forward Engineering phases in the "shanzhai" process are the first stage-obtaining core technologies through reverse engineering is the most important. This is the basis of the "shanzhai", but the two stages are indispensable, reverse engineering can only obtain the original design and core technology of the product, but also obtain the imitation product through positive engineering. Therefore, "shanzhai" is only applicable to situations where you already have positive engineering capabilities, that is, manufacturing capabilities and certain design capabilities, but only lack good design and core technologies. In this case, as long as the design and core technologies are obtained through reverse engineering, the production of imitation products can be completed. To sum up, you must first make each part so that you can split other people's things to view the parts and learn how to make them. If the parts cannot be made, you can only stare at them, or "split is also a white split ".

That is to say, "shanzhai" also has a basic "shanzhai access threshold", that is, it has sufficient positive engineering capabilities and is not an industrialized agricultural country, it is impossible to create an airplane even with a full set of aircraft drawings. A team without qualified programmers could not develop qualified software even with complete analysis and design documents.

If you want to obtain the core technology through reverse engineering, as if you want to crack the virgin film, is it so easy? Taking software development as an example, people who have worked as programmers know that it is no less difficult to read the code written by others and understand the design ideas of others. Taking the source program scale of modern software as an example, if there is no original development documentation, even open-source software, is it so easy to read and understand thousands of lines of source programs and really understand their core technologies?

Linux is an open-source software, but if you want to fully understand all the core technologies of the Linux kernel by reading the Linux source program, there are not too many programmers or teams in China who can do this, this is the case of open-source software. For most non-open-source commercial software, if you want to obtain its core technologies through reverse engineering, you need to mobilize professional Decryptors, it is difficult to use debugger, anti-assembler, anti-compiler, and other tools for cracking. In addition, the reverse engineering requirements are different from those for decryption. decryption only requires decryption of encryption points, reverse Engineering requires obtaining the core design idea of the software. The workload is far greater than decryption. the human, material, and financial resources it takes are not a small amount. For teams or companies that do not have sufficient strength, or you can try it by force.

Therefore, the difficulty of cutting the core technology is like breaking the virgin film. It doesn't have enough strength. Don't say it can be broken. I'm afraid it won't even be broken. In addition to reaching the "Entrance threshold for shanzhai", "shanzhai" enterprises also have considerable requirements on their enterprise strength. If you divide the development of "shanzhai" into three stages, you can divide it as follows:

Phase 1: simple imitation. This phase is likely to carry a large nature of plagiarism. It is characterized by the ability to complete the imitation, but it is often only able to master some of the original design, and has not yet thoroughly understood the core technology, it often produces products of poor quality.

Stage 2: master the imitation of the core technology. The characteristics of this stage are: master the complete original design, the core technology has been thoroughly understood and mastered, it can produce products with comparable or even better quality than the original products, but it cannot surpass the original products.

Stage 3: imitation and innovation. This stage is the ultimate stage of "shanzhai". It features that it has fully mastered the core technologies and can be innovated on the basis of the original core technologies, get your own core technologies, create enhanced products, and surpass original products.

Without the first and second stages, we cannot enter the third stage. However, if we only stay in the first stage, we will not be able to get high-quality products, but will also be prone to patent and intellectual property disputes, it is extremely unfavorable for the long-term development of enterprises. Therefore, for the early stages of a domestic IT industry's growth, especially the copy of foreign new products, it is not suitable to take an excessively negative or even excessively harsh attitude, because this is a necessary stage, however, it should be quickly entered into the second and third stages, which should also be the ultimate goal of the "shanzhai" enterprise managers. It "shanzhai" enterprises that have successfully "shanzhai" foreign products and have entered the third stage of "shanzhai" are also "shanzhai heroes" of the Chinese IT industry ".
