When you first install your browser, you may have only one search provider installed. You may find yourself needing to use multiple providers, or you need to replace the default provider. In Internet Explorer 9, you can add multiple search providers directly from the address bar.
To add a provider, first type the search term in the address bar. In the Drop-down list that appears later, click Add, and then select the search provider that you want to add. If you want the appropriate provider to be able to provide search suggestions, be sure to select the use this provider's search suggestions check box.

For each search provider that you add, a corresponding button appears in the Drop-down list in the Address bar. In this way, you can quickly and easily switch providers in a browsing session. All you have to do is click a button to toggle to select the appropriate search provider.
To change the default provider, remove the provider, adjust the order of the buttons in the search box, or view other available administrative options, click the Tools menu, click Manage Add-ins, and then under Add-in types, click search providers.
