This article explains how to record a desktop instructional video and post it to Youku in HD/Hyper-clear mode. First, recording teaching video

1.1 Downloading and installing the screen recorder software

The recording screen software used by the author is "Pole Star desktop recording master", as: Http://www.afanihao.cn/software/(click here to enter the official website download ) (click here to enter Baidu network disk, download faster). After downloading, install this software, all the way to the default settings, always click the Next button until the final completion. There will be a program icon on the desktop, as shown in:

1.2 Running "Pole Star desktop recording master"

Double-click Run this program, enter the following dialog box, this dialog box prompts you to be "desktop recording" or "Webcam recording",

Click the "Enter" button to enter the main interface,

On the main interface, select the microphone as the default microphone and the mode to full screen. As shown,

1.3 Adjusting the Monitor's resolution

Adjust the display resolution to 1024x768 before each recording.

Windows7 Adjustment Method: Click the right mouse button on the desktop, select "Screen Resolution" in the menu.

Select 1024x768 in the screen resolution container, as shown in

After you click the OK button, the monitor becomes a 1024x768 resolution and has a dialog box

Click "Keep Changes" and then set the success.

1.4 Start Recording

Before you start recording, clean up your desktop a little bit, and don't let your viewers see your desktop too messy and ^_^. If you want to record a PPT video, you can open the PPT. If you want to record something else, get it ready at this point.

When everything is ready, click F3 to start recording, and the Star Desktop recording master automatically hides and shrinks to the bottom right of the tray,

This is the time to make your speech.

When you say "good-bye" and decide to end the speech, press F4, and the main screen of the Star Desktop recording master will jump to the front again. Click the "Open" button to view the video you just recorded. The name of the video is named after the start time, such as "screen recording -20150319125504.mp4", indicating that the recording start time is 2015-03-19 12:55:04.

Second, the conversion video for Youku needs the format

This step is to convert the recorded MP4 video to the appropriate format.

This step needs to load "Mordor factory" (free) This software, you can own Baidu a bit. After downloading the installation, run this software,

Select "HD video Files" On the left, select "MP4 HD", then select just the recorded files,

Third, release to Youku

Log in to the Youku station, click Upload in the top right corner, as shown in

When you're done uploading, you'll see the status of this video in Youku's video management screen:

① cool backstage will automatically transcode, this time display "transcoding"

② after transcoding, background workers will review their content and show "auditing"

③ after the audit is complete, the publication is displayed. Don't worry, it's not over yet, it's just that the "SD" version of your video is ready to read. But "HD" and "super clear" are not good.

④ background to continue transcoding, display "HD" transcoding. When you're done, you'll see the words "HD" on your video thumbnail.

⑤ background to continue transcoding, display "ultra-clear" transcoding. When you're done, you'll see the word "super clear" on your video thumbnail.

⑥ is now displayed as "super clear" but still unable to watch, after about 1 hours, you can watch "HD" and "Ultra clear."
