The famous open-source database MySQL released the next-generation beta version this week.

According to MySQL co-founder David axmark, mysql5.0 will include all the missing enterprise-level features.

"Since we started MySql in 1995, people have complained that it does not support stored procedures, triggers, and views. The new version will solve all problems in one click. This will be the most important version of our company's history ."

According to a survey by Evans Data Corporation, MySQL has a 40% share of the open source market, followed by Firebird (39%) and PostgreSQL (11% ).

Axmark believes that the new version will help increase the market share, and the number of users is expected to increase by at least 10 times.
