Text-overflow: ellipsis; when the text exceeds the container width, the hidden text is replaced by a ellipsis. Therefore, this attribute can only be used for block elements or intra-row block elements, but does not work for intra-row elements.

It is generally used together with white-space: noworp; (Force text not to wrap), overflow: hidden; (Text overflow hidden.

To display an ellipsis for an element in a row, you must first convert it into a block element or an element in a row.
