The Chinese file name of eclipse CVS is garbled and cannot be updated.

When you use eclipse and cvsnt as version management tools, you will find garbled characters in the Chinese file names and errors during update. The error is generally caused by fileattr, the warehouse information file of the CVS server. XML is blank after the Chinese file is submitted, that is, a 0-byte file.

Configure the CVS server and check the box before the Unicode serving attribute of the cvsnt advance page. Restart two CVS services after setting.

 

 

Eclipse settings, open the CVS resource library. From the menu: WINDOW> View> Other> CVS resource library. Right-click server-> Properties

Set the server encoding to a UTF-8.

 

 

Delete the original Chinese file name file (local and server) and submit it again.
