At first, I thought it was a DNS configuration error. After checking, I found that the DNS configuration is the same as that of the physical machine. The physical machine can resolve the DNS.

The file/etc/nsswitch. conf is found to be faulty.

The hosts label of this file sets HOST: Files

HOST: Files
Indicates that only the/etc/hosts file is used to parse the host.

Change to hosts: Files DNS

Hosts: Files DNS
The/etc/inet/hosts file will be used to resolve the host, indicating that DNS will be used if the host cannot be resolved.

Then run service network restart

Yum execution successful
