When a project has just been clone down and open from the GIT server side, you may find that the branch information is currently not visible in the lower right corner of Android studio, such as:


Cause Analysis: The reason why is not shown is because your current Android Studio default version control tool is not git, as long as it is set to Git, the specific way to set up in this article has been described Is there git in the right-click option for Android Studio?

After the setup is complete, the branch information can be displayed in the lower right corner.
