There are now many excellent Linux desktop systems, such as Ubuntu and the mint version recently discovered. I am not really a Linux fan, but I just pay attention to it. The new version I saw this year is quite complete and can be used after basic installation.

There are several main advantages:

1. Security, no virus.
2 hardware requirements are not high, 512 m, or even m can be installed. Lightweight desktop lxde is popular recently.
3. Stable and not slow.

I feel that the extensive promotion of Linux Desktop is mature, at least attractive to technicians. Gradually, other non-technical groups can be popularized. It may take two or three years to see if the Linux desktop has a sufficient share, such as 20-30%.
