The independence of Chinese characters and the particularity of Japanese

Chinese characters are square characters and field characters. The order from top to bottom is left to right. There are two dimensions and multiple degrees of freedom. Chinese characters are not phonograph from the very beginning, it is more about expressing one thing. It is not linguistic, but just descriptive, so it is more like painting, it is not a rule in the sense of communication to make communication easier, but to describe something, describe some facts, and make it difficult to learn the complex structure of Chinese characters. Because Chinese characters are descriptive, if there is no corresponding thing in reality, it is difficult to create new Chinese characters, therefore, the result is that Chinese characters adopt an attitude of rejection and resistance to external things, rather than an attitude of inclusiveness and acceptance. On the contrary, because letters and texts are phonograph, it is just a set of rules defined for communication and abstract thinking. In reality, there is not necessarily a corresponding thing. Letters and texts are expressed at both points. For communication, letters and texts represent a speech, while speech is only a media of communication. What is more important is the content of communication. Therefore, letters and texts must be accurately expressed, rather than implicitly expressed, after all, if content is not carried, letters are actually nothing. An English word represents only one word rather than a specific thing, bus is the word of a bus, rather than expressing anything else about the thing. For abstract thinking, letters and texts are a set of rules, which can be seen from many English prepositions, "to" and "from" represent two directions, but they cannot express any action. In Chinese, there is no such rule. "come" and "go" not only express the direction but also the action, coupling between letters, texts, speech, and Semantics Strong, almost integrated, but Chinese characters are the opposite. Speech cannot represent any semantics. Even people in different regions speak different voices but use a set of texts, therefore, people's thinking tends to move closer to words without paying attention to speech. As a result, Chinese languages have almost no rules and are fully understood by tone and context.
One problem is that Chinese characters and letters are not in parallel, and they have a longer history, in fact, the center of each civilization uses hieroglyphics and the like in the most primitive time, such as Egypt and the ancient Middle East. At that time, the text was mainly used to record agricultural events, that is to say, the words are used and mastered by a few people. For most people, this text has no significance. The masses just want to better communicate. In fact, they have long been able to communicate. In order to liberate the communication from the geographical environment, therefore, people need a medium to record their language. This medium is highly regular and efficient and simple. It does not express any meaning except for the recorded content, this medium does not record any specific things, but only expresses the meaning that the speaker wants to express. This is a letter, so that people want to convey a meaning to people in the distance, he doesn't have to go in person, but he just needs to try to send a few letters to him. This is actually the same as the meaning of the Code, however, hieroglyphics have been used by people who are engaged in agriculture. They seldom need to communicate with each other. Instead, they only need to record events and then adopt different strategies to confront nature based on these records, this is similar to Arabic numerals. Arabic numerals are not for communication and reasoning, but for recording. Therefore, hieroglyphics are mainly used to record the text. hieroglyphics have weak regularity, but have a large amount of information and are relatively conservative. On the contrary, letters and texts are used for communication and reasoning, emphasizing rules and determining the amount of information, relatively open. In the C programming language analogy, hieroglyphics are keywords, while letters and texts are syntactic statements and structures. Many European Historians generally think that the literacy rate in ancient China is higher than that in ancient China, so Chinese characters are easier to communicate with. I think this communication is irrelevant, and it is more related to the Chinese imperial examination system.
Another problem is that Japanese also use Chinese characters. Why do they always adopt a cautious but open attitude towards foreign things? After being instructed by my wife this afternoon, I suddenly realized that there are two reasons: the first is that Japan uses Chinese characters as the carrier of speech and not the voice, in fact, before the introduction of Chinese characters, Japan already had its own communication rules. After the introduction of Chinese characters by the Sui and Tang cultures, the Japanese had the carrier of speech, although Chinese characters are also used to express some things, not just words in the language sense, what the Japanese lack is the carrier of voice recording, not the carrier of semantics. For example, you can always understand the pronunciation of X, you can understand what it means, but you don't know how to record it, so after using Chinese characters, you will have "Ike". Second, Japan has a katana besides Chinese characters, kana is more of a phoneme. Its generation is a bit similar to that of letters and texts invented by phoenicans. Since then, the Japanese have a hybrid text system, including Chinese characters and Kana, however, the phoneme is more expressive than that of the Japanese, and the replacement of the Japanese is not very thorough. Therefore, the modern Japanese is generated, while the letters and texts of Phoenix gradually replace the local hieroglyphics. Because Chinese characters are too complex and not easy to accept external things, Chinese characters are no longer used to express foreign things. However, if hirakana is used, since hirakana is also square, the interval between characters is equal, in addition, it focuses on phoneme, so we should avoid completely using hirakana, so we have katakana dedicated to expressing foreign languages, it can be seen that the Japanese text system is a result of its own nature plus external influences and self-correction. It is different from Chinese characters and letters, therefore, the Japanese are independent of the Chinese and European people, so Japan has its own system.
