The insight of the developer reporting work

At work, reporting is a way to show your work, to understand the work you do or to understand your next stage of work. As a program developer community, the overall ability to do presentation is weak, perhaps for the following reasons:

• Deep down don't want to report, think report not important.
• In public speaking more tense, think of report on headache.
• The content of the report is more messy, without reason.
• PPT is more rigid, not lively enough.
• Prepare less before reporting and end hastily.

The above reasons, purely in the work, from the surrounding colleagues and their own feelings, there may be a deeper link in these reasons, do not delve into this.

Since reporting is important, how do you improve your ability to do this, giving the following tips:

• From the ideological attention, only from the ideological attention, there is a strong desire to do a good job of presentation, is the first step in reporting, the so-called "liberation of Thought" (Deng Xiaoping's famous sayings, also my manager has been respected, but also I recognized).
• Learn how to report better colleagues around the way.
• Seize every opportunity to speak in public and exercise your ability to speak in public.
• Report work should pay attention to the results-oriented, the results of the work clearly displayed, attention to summary, classification, the application of numbers. Plan work should pay attention to plan clearly, have operability.
• PPT in the use of pictures, charts, tables, and pay attention to refining the core content less detailed text description, so that the report content at a glance.
• Be prepared before you report, confident when you report: Face the audience, pay attention to the speed, interact with the audience, increase the use of gestures, and more.
