The interface functions for ARP requests and responses in Linux source code are urgently sought! -- Linux general technology-Linux programming and kernel information. The following is a detailed description. I want to add a function interface to ip_rcv () in the Linux kernel. One of the functions is to send an ARP request, check whether the LAN host corresponding to an IP address is online. I don't know how to send ARP requests and check that ARP response packets are received, especially detection!
I wanted to look at the position of the ARP request when I added the MAC header to the link layer, but I couldn't find it in that function. I'm not very grateful if you could give me some advice !!!
