The late King! Teach you to easily master PS Curve tools (with the great God practice curve)

The histogram is like every instrument of a car, it can tell us the state of the car running, and the curve is like the steering wheel, it can direct the direction of the car, all the contrast, brightness, color levels and other parameters can be adjusted through the curve, and more accurate, more handy. Not only brightness information, color information can also be adjusted through the curve, if you want to give late tool title, I do not hesitate to wear the crown on its head.

And when you can seamlessly combine the histogram tool with the curve tool, I'm sure your later level will go thousands of miles.

1: Channel selection. You can choose RGB, or a separate r,g,b channel.

2: The main function area, is also what I want to talk about today.

3: Adjust the way, can choose hand animation or with buoy.

4: Black white field tools. Can correct the color bias, adjust contrast, manufacturing tones, etc., later have time to explain.

5: Display area. Decide which factors to show.

6: Automatically adjust the area, you can choose to adjust the algorithm.

Let's start with some of the most basic operations:

1: Brighten.

2: Pressed dark.

3: Improve contrast (S-curve for short).

4: Reduce the contrast (for short, the anti-S curve).

5: Reverse (black and white inverted curve).

6: Parallel curves and vertical curves.

This is the two extreme curves, one is parallel to the x-axis, and I call it a grayscale curve, because the result of this curve is that the picture is in a brightness.

Another is perpendicular to the x-axis, the effect is more extreme color style, but can be used to create animation effects:

Above is the warm-up section, the following is the text:

We have the brightness tool, contrast tool, why do we use curve tool to adjust it?

The reason is that the curve tool is particularly adaptable and can almost be used to point to where to hit.

For example, if I think that the highlights of a picture are normal, but the low-light part is exposed, what should I do? The Brightness tool is dimmed as a whole, and the mask is too complex to use the Curve tool at this point:

In the curve of the high light click the left mouse button to create a buoy, and then the entire high light part of the equivalent of our lock, and then you pull down the left side of the image, at this time, you are equivalent to the middle and low light part of the adjustment, and maintain the high light part.

Of course, you can also use the Hand animation curve function, click on the upper left corner of the tool like a brush on the line.

In the lower-right corner, you can also subdivide the grid to make your curve tools more accurate.

There is a value below the input, and you can enter specific values for more precise adjustments.

Finally tell you a few I often use the classic curve, you go to try, should be able to bring you a hint of surprise:

One: Japanese curve/film curve.

I often say that the Japanese, film and so on a layer, in fact, the curve can be simple to do, and can be real-time preview effect, than with layers more convenient and quick. This curve can make the contrast of the picture is lower, the saturation is higher, the picture is more pure, there is the flavor of the Japanese film wind.

Two: the cow curve.

This curve can create a strong silky milk-like effect, giving people a very mellow feeling. In fact, the observation curve you can see that this curve is to lock the highlights, and then in the low light part of the operation, but not a single highlight, but the partition between the light, with the operation of the time you can try to change the value, this is just a model and method.

Three: the combination curve.

This is a combination of RGB and B-Channel curves.

The first is that RBG is basically an S-curve, but the leftmost endpoint moves up, is the contrast and the layer of the double operation, and the blue channel is also an S curve, it can make the picture of the blue contrast more intense, create a good partial effect.

The combination of different channels can be a good adjustment of color.

With the above three classic curves, you should be able to get a general idea of how the curve works, the other color palette methods, and so on.
