Set the CSS box model to the standard model or IE model. The width of the standard model includes only content, and the two IE models include border and padding

The Box-sizing property can be one of three values:

  1. Content-box, default values, border and padding not calculated into width

  2. Padding-box,padding calculation into width inside

  3. Border-box,border and padding calculated into width
