Problem:
After installing SharePoint on the server and opening the SharePoint product and Technical Configuration Wizard for configuration, a red warning "is displayed on the Management Center page. The server farm configuration is incomplete !", So I started to configure the server services. After I started several major services, I still had such a prompt, but I could create web applications and website sets, after the website is created, it can be used normally, and the website does not receive this warning. However, if workflow is used, the form session status is unavailable.
Solution:
Add servers to the server farm;
Allocate required services to each server;
Create a Shared Service Provider (SSP ).
The procedure is as follows:
1. open the Management Center page, click operation items on the left-side tab, and then on the Operation page that opens on the right side, in turn, click the topology and services in the server farm in the Service and the services on the server (note that the search indexing search index service must be enabled), and check that all the services are in the starting status.
2. open the Management Center page, and click Application Management items on the left-side tab, in the application management item that opens on the right, click Create under Office Sharepoint Server sharing service or configure the sharing service for this server farm, and create a new ssp.
3. after the above two steps are correctly set, click the Management Center page again. At this time, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that the red warning is missing, the session state is not available prompt when the approval workflow is used disappears. The task shown in the first figure is also added.
