The simplest solution for converting MySQL databases from GBK to UTF-8 (also applicable to other encoding conversions)

1. Use mysqldump to export the table structure, for example:

Mysqldump-D-u root-P Database Name>/root/struct. SQL

2. Use mysqldump to export data with specific encoding (utf8 is the required encoding and can be modified as needed), for example:

Mysqldump -- default-character-set = utf8-t-u root-P Database Name>/root/data. SQL

3. Open the table structure (/root/struct. SQL) and replace all the codes in the CREATE TABLE with the required codes;

4. log on to the MySQL console and run:

Source/root/struct. SQL

Source/root/data. SQL
