The Seek () method sets the current position of the file at the offset. The parameter is optional, the default is 0, which means absolute file positioning, and its value if 1, which means seeking relative to the current position, and 2 representing the end of the file.
no return value. Note that if the file is opened or is appended with a ' a ' or ' A + ', any seek () action will be undone at the next write.
If the file only opens in Append mode written with "a", this method is essentially an empty operation, but read-enabled (mode ' + ') is still useful for files that are open in Append mode.
If the file uses "T" in text mode, only the deviation from tell () returned is legal. Using other offsets can result in an indeterminate behavior.
Note that not all file objects are searchable.
