The WPS Drawing Tool draws the mathematical graph

The following is an example of drawing with an irregular shadow parabola (Fig. 1), which introduces the method of filling the irregular region with the editing vertices in the WPS text.

1. Click the arrow button in the Drawing toolbar with your mouse, hold down the SHIFT key to draw the horizontal axis from left to right, click the arrow button in the Drawing toolbar again, and hold down the SHIFT key as you drag from the bottom up to draw the ordinate.

3. Click AutoShapes/Lines/curves in the Drawing toolbar, and then draw a parabola in the editing area with a continuous mouse click. After drawing is finished, if you are not satisfied with the shape of the curve, right-click on the curve you just drawn, click Edit Vertex on the shortcut menu that appears (as shown below)

There will be multiple black control points on the curve at this time, drag the mouse to adjust the position of the control point to fine-tune the curve, and, if necessary, right-click the curve again, click Add Vertex or remove vertex on the shortcut menu (figure below) until the shape of the curve meets the requirements.

4. Now we are going to try to put a shadow on the irregular area in which the parabola and the line are closed together. According to the above method, click AutoShapes/Lines/curves in the Drawing toolbar, and then from a point of intersection of the parabola and line, draw a curve that is the same as the parabola shape, with two endpoints of the curve being the two intersections of the parabola and the line. After the drawing is finished, the curve is carefully adjusted according to the method just now, so that it coincides completely with the parabola (pictured below).

5, according to the shaded 90o arc of the setting method with "Light up diagonal" fill the curve just drawn, click on the Object Alignment toolbar, "Put the bottom" button to put the filled curve at the bottom, and then the related graphics are combined operation, the task is completed.

The author hints: As long as you have enough patience to fine-tune the curve, you can use a similar method to complete the irregular area of any drawing and fill, you can even use this method to draw a beautiful People's Republic of China's political district map or topographic map.
