Currently, the operating system is basically installed on a ghost for individual users, and is rarely installed on the original disk.
However, the system installed with a cloned disk basically does not have IIS (Internet Information Service) installed, which is inconvenient for developers and testers, you usually need to reinstall IIS in "Add/delete Windows Components.
The independent installation package of IIS is already common. There are more than N online, which saves the trouble of finding the original system to install the disk, which is very convenient.
However, in some ghost systems, some default settings of the system have been changed to streamline and reduce, and some installation items have been hidden and removed, including IIS; so that there is no IIS option in "Add/delete Windows Components". The following describes how to solve this problem:
Assume thatCDisk
- The system component Installation option is saved in an INF file, and the path isC:/Windows/INF/sysoc. inf,The INF directory is hidden by default.
- Start-> Run, enter C:/Windows/INF/sysoc. inf, and press Enter. In the opened sysoc. inf file, find [Components] To see if there is IIS = IIS. DLL, ocentry, IIS. INF, hide, and 7. If there is one line, delete the four characters hide and change it to IIS = IIS. DLL, ocentry, IIS. INF, 7. If no, add a line of IIS = IIS directly. DLL, ocentry, IIS. INF, 7, save and close this file
- Download the IIS installation package from the Internet, or find the system's original installation disk (non-ghost disk ),IIS. DL _AndIIS. In _Copy two files to C:/(or another temporary directory), open command line tool cmd, switch the path to the directory where the above two files are placed, and execute expand IIS. DL _ IIS. DLL and expand IIS. in _ IIS. INF commands
- Copy the released IIS. DLL to the C:/Windows/system32/Setup/directory.
- Copy the released IIS. inf to the C:/Windows/INF/directory.
- In the normal way, open "Control Panel/Add/delete programs/Add/delete Windows Components" and install IIS.
It's done, isn't it annoying?
