Thoroughly uninstall MySQL

I just installed mysql. The service name was modified during the installation process, causing the final configuration to be suspended. I had to reinstall it.

But it always fails to be reinstalled, So Google will find the method to thoroughly uninstall MySQL:

The installation of the MySQL server for local testing is always unsuccessful. The reason is that the MySQL server previously installed on the local machine is not uninstalled. To sum up, it takes the following steps to thoroughly uninstall MySQL on Windows:

1. Back up database data files.

2. Close the MySQL service and start the built-in uninstallation of MySQL.Program, Uninstall the MySQL main program.

3. Delete the MySQL installation folder.

4. Search for the MySQL folder (hidden by default) in the C: \ Documents and Settings \ path and delete the MySQL folder. (Default configuration path: C: \ Documents ents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \ mysql ).

5. Open the registry and search for MySQL items (note that only the items are searched, and the values and data are not case-insensitive). A total of three results can be found and deleted.
