Tips for Ubuntu 14.04 Grub2

On the basis of Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 was installed just a few days ago. Ubuntu 14.04 is still very good, but today I want to enter Win7, but I found that the grub2 option is not displayed as I used to boot, but directly entered Ubuntu.

I felt a problem with grub2 configuration, so I checked grub2 configuration, and there was only one Ubuntu configuration. It is not surprising that the grub2 option is not displayed at startup! What is the option displayed? I want to manually add it, but I think that update-grub may be automatically added, So I open the terminal and run: sudo update-grub.

Haha! The result shows "Found Windows 7 (loader) on/dev/sda1". My idea is correct! Sudo reboot now! As expected, Ubuntu, Ubuntu advanced options, memory testing, and Windows 7 are available! I tried it in win7!

However, the interface of Grub 2 is not beautiful enough! So I restarted Ubuntu and sudo cp has been installed into Ubuntu. PNG/boot/grub/. It will not take effect if I put a picture in the/boot/grub/directory, we also need to use the sudo update-grub we used earlier, so that everything is OK !!

Download, install, and configure Ubuntu 14.04.
