Open IE Browser or other 3rd party browser, this article takes Microsoft official own IE browser (Internet Explorer 8.0) to do the introduction.

In the Address bar, enter: 192.168.1.1, and then hit the ENTER key on the keyboard.

After tapping enter, IE browser will pop up the following window, this window is the Tp-link router login interface, if you are a newly purchased router and the first time use, please enter the following username and password.

User name: admin

Password: admin

After entering the correct username and password, click OK

If this is not the first time you have used this router or changed your password, please enter your customized username and password, and I will have an article in the series to explain how to change the username and password of the login.

After clicking OK, if your username password is correct, you will see the following interface. This interface is the Setup interface for the Tp-link router. To set up ADSL Internet, click Network parameters, Wan settings in the left vertical menu, and the WAN settings interface appears to the right.

Click the Drop-down menu to the right of the WAN type to select the PPPoE Internet access method.

Input operators (Unicom, telecom or other ADSL Internet service providers, you can contact the telephone number of installers to provide you with Internet account and Internet password) to provide you with the Internet account and password (password input two times, so as to verify)

Select on-Demand connection, and the automatic disconnect wait time is filled in with the number 0.

Click on the "Save" button below

If you are sure that the connection between the ADSL Internet cat, router and computer is correct, tap the "Connect" button. When the normal dialing ADSL account can be connected to the Internet, the connection button will be gray and can not be clicked, Break button from the original gray into solid color. My screenshot has been properly networked so the "Connect" button you see in the screenshot are all gray. Please understand.

Click "Run Status" on the left menu bar, the current router status appears on the right, and the "WAN status" is found, such as the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS server you see, displaying some numbers, Instead of 0.0.0.0, it also means that your computer is already connected to the Internet, surfing the internet and watching blockbusters.
