If a telephone line arrives at home, connect the WAN port of the router to the LAN port of the Modem first, and connect the computer Nic to any LAN port of the router, directly connect the network cable to the WAN port of the router. Then, set network parameters for the computer and specify the IP address. If there are not many computers, we recommend that you manually specify the IP address.
If the router is set by default, the host network parameter is set:
IP: 192.168.1.x
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: enter the local DNS address. If you are not clear about it, consult your local service provider.
(You can also set the IP address to be automatically obtained. We recommend that you manually specify the DNS address)
Windows 2000/XP parameter settings:

After setting network parameters, log on to the vro management page and set PPPoE dialing:
1. Enter the IP address of the router LAN port in the browser, enter the correct management user name and password of the router in the pop-up box, and then enter the management page.
If the router is set by default, the management address is 192.168.1.1. The username and password are admin.
2. Select "network parameters" & rarr; "WAN port settings" in the left box, and select "PPPoE" in "WAN port connection type" in the right border ". Enter the user name and password of the broadband account in "Internet account" and "Internet password.
? After you enter the internet password and save it, the password length in the password box may not match the actual number of digits you enter. This is the built-in password protection mechanism of the vro, as long as you confirm that the entered password is correct, the vro has saved the settings.
? Connection mode selection:
"On-Demand Connection"It is recommended that you select timed Internet access. When data is accessed, the router will automatically dial the connection. If no data exists, the network connection will be automatically disconnected within the specified time.
"Automatic connection"We recommend that you select monthly subscription. The vro will be automatically reconnected after power-on or disconnection.
"Manual connection"That is, manually click the connection to dial up, the router will not automatically dial up.
Click "save" after setting ".
3. For dial-up connections or disconnections, click the "running status" column in the left sidebar of the management interface, and clickConnection/disconnectionButton.
After dialing the number, you can view the IP address and DNS address obtained by the router in "WAN port status". If no DNS server address is set on the computer, enter the DNS server address displayed on the WAN port to your computer.
4. Now, the PPPoE dial-up is complete and the dial-up is successful. The computer under the vro can access the Internet through the vro.
