The third CSS streaking Festival is coming. This year (CSS naked day '08) will be scheduled for April 9.
The idea behind this event is to promote web standards. plain and simple. this includes des proper use of (x) HTML, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good 'ol play on words. it's time to show off your <body>.
Activity PurposeCSS streaking aims to promote web standards. Concise and beautiful. Use the correct (x) HTML, semantic tag, and good hierarchy. Temporarily abandon the page design and directly display the <body>.
How to participate
Fill out the naked day signup form, then your website will be encoded in the official list within the next hour.
Then on10000l 9th, simplyRemove all CSS from your website, stripping it entirely of its design.
(Optional): Insert the following snippet of markup at the top of the your page on the day.
This option for those who feel a need to give their visitors a reference as to what's going on. this is not about getting traffic or making money. there are no ads on this site, nor will there ever be. this is about you, the people; getting naked.
How to participate Enter the registration form here. Your website will appear in the official list within one hour after registration.
In April 9, we removed the CSS from your website and threw away the page design.

When is it again? A few folks were curious about the date of CSS naked day. Here's a few reasons why it's on every l 9th this year.
- The date shoshould always be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (most highly trafficked days)
- It shoshould be near the first week of each L
- It shoshould never be on rjl 1st (International Prank Day)
- There shoshould be at least five days ahead of time before the announcement
Activity date Many people are very concerned about the time of the CSS streaking festival. This year is scheduled to take place on July 15, April 9 for the following reasons:
- The activity date is scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. The website traffic is high in the past few days.
- The time should be before and after the first week of March
- It shouldn't be July 22, April 1 (who should believe it, huh, huh)
- At least five days after the event announcement is issued
