Tutorial on getting Dictionary key values in Python using the Get () method

The Get () method returns the value of the given key. If the key is not available, the default value of None is returned.

The following is the syntax for the Get () method:

Dict.get (Key, Default=none)

Parameters

• Key-This is the key to search in the dictionary.
• Default-This is the defaults that you want to return if the key does not exist.

return value

The method returns the value of a given key. If the key is not available, the default value of None is returned.

The following example shows the use of the Get () method.
