Two attributes of timestamp: CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, currenttimestampon

Timestamp has two attributes: CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP. The usage is as follows:

 

 

1.

CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

 

When you want to perform the insert operation on the database, if there is a timestamp field attribute set

CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, the current system time is inserted no matter whether this field has a set value

 

2.

On update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

When the update operation is executed, and the field has the on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP attribute. The value of a field is updated to the time of the current UPDATE operation regardless of whether the value has changed.
