If you set a password for your XP, a user logon interface will appear every time you enter the XP desktop, requiring you to enter the password, which increases the security of the system, it also provides convenience for multiple people to share a computer, but if you are the only one, it is a little inconvenient to enter a password each time. To cancel this logon, you can use either of the following methods:
First, modify the registry.
This method is troublesome and requires a certain understanding of the Registry.
Step 2: run the Registry Editor, expand the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon] branch, and double-click "DefaultUserName" in the right window ", enter your logon username. If "DefaultUserName" is not available, right-click the item and choose "Edit> New> string value (s)> DefaultUserName" to add the item. Note that the item must be case sensitive.
Step 2: Double-click "defaultpassword" in the right window under the Branch, and enter your password in the blank bar. If the "defaultpassword" item is not found, you can follow the steps above to create the string value.
Step 2: Double-click "AutoAdminLogon" in the right window and set the value to "1 ". If "AutoAdminLogon" is not found, you can follow the steps above to create a logstore.
Now you can turn off the Registry Editor and restart your computer to automatically log on to XP.
The second method is relatively simple.
in Windows XP, click Start> Run and enter rundll32 netplwiz. DLL, usersrundll (note the case and space), press enter to display a "User Account" Operation window, if you are familiar with Windows 2000, I believe you should know how to do this. Cancel the selection of "to use the local machine, the user must enter the user name and password" and click "Apply ". In the dialog box that appears, enter the user name and password that you want your computer to automatically log on to. The next time you start the system, you can automatically log on to XP.
