Installation of navicat_for_mysql_10.0.11 under Linux

Navicat_for_mysql_10.0.11_cn_linux.tar.gz

How to use:

1. Open Terminal: Application---system tools (or accessories), terminal, switch to root account:

#su

Password:

(Note: When entering the root account password, the password will not be displayed, and no prompt special characters, directly after the password press Enter the line)

2. Switch to the directory where the downloaded navicat_for_mysql_10.0.11_cn_linux.tar.gz packages are placed,

For example, I put the package in the/home/zdw/software directory.

# Cd/home/zdw/software

3. Unzip the navicat_for_mysql_10.0.11_cn_linux.tar.gz

# TAR-ZXVF Navicat_for_mysql_10.0.11_cn_linux.tar.gz

You will get a folder named Navicat_for_mysql after decompression.

4. Move the Unzip build folder to the/OPT directory:

# mv/home/zdw/software/navicat_for_mysql/opt

5. Run the Navicat method:

Enter the installation directory:

# Cd/opt/navicat_for_mysql

Execute command:

#./start_navicat

This launches the Navicat

For convenience, you can also create a Navicat desktop launcher by doing the following:

Right click on the desktop, click [Create Launcher] Item

"Type" column select [Application]

"Name" field fill in: Navicat

command bar Click "Browse" on the right to select the->[file system]->[opt]->[navicat_for_mysql]->[start_navicat]

Finally click "OK" to create the Navicat launcher on the desktop.

# locale-a
