Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit WPS Installation

1. Go to the WPS official website to download the Linux software

Http://community.wps.cn/download/

I downloaded the Alpha kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4280 here ~ A12p4_i386.deb

2. Installing WPS requires some dependent packages:

LibTIFF. so.4libpng12. sow.libjpeg. so.62

Run the following command to check whether the system has them:

APTITUDE search LibTIFF

If not, run the following command:

Sudo apt-Get install Aptitude

3. Install WPS software:

Sudo dpkg-I kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4280 ~ A12p4_i386.deb

If an error occurs, the dependency problem may not be completely resolved. Run the following command to solve the problem:

Sudo apt-get-F install

4. Install the Library:

Download: http://linux.linuxidc.com/in Linux community/

Both the user name and password are: www.linuxidc.com

The installation command is as follows:

Sudo dpkg-I symbol-fonts_1.1_all \. Deb
