1. Install the linux environment

Install Ubuntu Linux, download the operating system installation CD image from the website, and click here to go to the official website. Download ubuntu-8.04.2-desktop-i386.iso, (editor LinuxIDC Note: it is now a ubuntu-8.04.3 version) burn into a CD installation, installation can be carried out in the windows system, select the hard disk installation with 15 GB space, enter your password to start installation.

In this step, exit the CD and restart the Ubuntu system to complete the remaining system installation.
