Ubuntu Recycle Bin file cannot be deleted

Source: Internet
Author: User

This problem is generally related to permissions, such as the deletion as root, my workaround is:

  1. Open the root file Manager with sudo nautilus
  2. Go to the /home/username folder, ctrl+h Show hidden Folders,./local/share/trash is the Recycle Bin folder for the corresponding user
  3. chown-r username filename changes the owner of the file to a new user,-R handles all files in the specified directory and its subdirectories
  4. Then switch to the normal user's admin interface to delete
