First step: Installing the TFTP service
sudo apt-get install tftpd tftp openbsd-inetd
Step Two: Directory configuration
Vi/etc/inetd.conf
Modify the folder to Tftpboot under the root directory (note Tftpboot folder Properties "chmod 777/tftpboot")
#:boot:tftp service is provided primarily for booting
#tftp dgram UDP Wait nobody/usr/sbin/tcpd/usr/sbin/in.tftpd/srv/tftp (/srv/tftp is the default TFTP directory)
TFTP dgram UDP wait Nobody/usr/sbin/tcpd/usr/sbin/in.tftpd/tftpboot
Step Three: Restart the service
sudo/etc/init.d/openbsd-inetd restart
Fourth Step: Port Detection
See if Port 69 is open
UDP 0 0 0.0.0.0:69 0.0.0.0:*
Fifth step: Native loopback test
Create a new file under/tftproot 1.txt (chmod 777 1.txt)
TFTP 127.0.0.1
Get 1.txt
Received bytes in 0.0 seconds
