Ubuntu Installation and Configuration minicom

1. Installing Minicom

Download minicom with the new Rieter software Manager

2. Configure Minicom

Shell under input

Minicom-s

Open the Configuration Interface

Enter serial port Setup

Next Step:

Enter the serial port configuration

Input a configuration serial port driver for/DEV/TTYS0
Input e configuration rate is 115200 8N1
Enter F to set Hardware Flow Control to NO

The minicom is used to control the Development Board. It doesn't matter, change modem and dialing, set init string, reset string, hang-up string to null. Select Save Setup as DFL to save the current settings as the default setting after Setup is complete.
In the Configuration menu, choose Save Setup as DFL Save

Minicom's interface

An abnormal shutdown of minicom will create several files lck* under/var/lock, which prevent minicom execution. They can be restored after they are deleted.
