In the use of the virtual machine process, because often to switch to Win7 debugging, so more trouble. So recently tried to use SSH Secure Shell client login virtual machine under win, in order to avoid repeated su switch to root, so I want to log in as root user.
1. First win7 install SSH Secure Shell Client, ubuntu also use Apt-get to install Openssh-server.
2. Restart the SSH service by changing Permitrootlogin No to Yes in/etc/ssh/sshd_confg.
3. The most important point is that the Ubuntu superuser root user is disabled, which is why we log on as a normal user, and there is no root option for switch user.
You must use the command to start root. Input: sudo passwd. Then enter the password to start root.
At this point, if you ping the virtual machine, you can normally SSH landing to Ubuntu. This allows Ubuntu to be operated directly through SSH under Win7 without the need for frequent switching between virtual machines and Win7.
