Ubuntu installs plug-ins for rhythmbox to display the lyrics.
Plug-in name: osd-lyrics
Step1. download the corresponding osd-lyrics version of deb package http://code.google.com/p/osd-lyrics/downloads/list to the following website
I chose "osdlyrics_0.4.3-1 ~ Precise1_amd64.deb"
Step2. install the osd-lyrics dependency package
Sudo apt-get install libmp D1 libxmmsclient6
Step 3: Include the downloaded deb package in the folder
I saved the deb package ~ /Downloads/Medium
Cd ~ /Downloads/
Step 4. Install osd-lyrics
Sudo dpkg-I osdlyrics_0.4.3-1 ~ Precise1_amd64.deb
Now that osd-lyrics has been installed, open rhythmbox and then open osd-lyrics. The lyrics are displayed. You can also set the display method of the lyrics based on your preferences!
Osd features are very powerful. You can set the lyrics size, color, latency, and so on.
Two modes are available: Scrolling mode and OSD mode.
Scolling mode (this is on my desktop)
OSD mode (I have topped the lyrics)
(1) display the lyrics in a single row
(2) display the lyrics in two rows
Have you seen the orange icon in the upper right corner, that is, the osd-lyrics icon?
There are many other settings that can be completed according to your preferences. Click the orange icon.
Go to Preferences and try again.
