MySQL startup failed, error message

Error 2002 (hy000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld. Sock' (2)

Solution: VI/etc/MySQL/My. CNF, FindBind-address:

Original bind-address = 127.0.0.1

Change to bind-address = 192.168.1.110 # specific IP address. If loopback address (LO) is set, you do not need to change it like this.

Start sudo/etc/init. d/MySQL start... [OK]

Check netstat-Nat | grep 3306

To allow remote access: bind-address = 0.0.0.0
Use netstat-nat to check whether 0.0.0.0: 3306 listening is correct. If 127.0.0.1: 3306 listening is correct, only local access is allowed and remote connection is unavailable.

Accelerate remote connection: add a line of skip-name-resolve in the/etc/MySQL/My. CNF [mysqld] segment, and skip DNS reverse resolution in the table.
