Ubuntu users install Gnome-Pie 0.6.5

Gnome-Pie is a ring-shaped, cool Gnome Desktop starter. Gnome-Pie is written in the spirit of World of Warcraft.

The latest version is 0.6.5. Main functions and changes:

Added possibility to select slices by typing their names.

Its now possible to position each theme layer (icons, files and slice caption) relative to their centers with a x-offset and a y-offset

Fixed hard to read text when displaying slice hotkeys for some themes.

Translation updates

Install PPA (Ubuntu 15.10/15.04/14.04/supported). It is easy to install. Open the terminal and run the following command:

  • Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: simonschneegans/testing
  • Sudo apt-get update
  • Sudo apt-get install gnome-pie
